We’re very excited to announce we’re working with British fashion icon LULU GUINNESS, to launch her first ever ‘on-schedule’ presentation at London Fashion Week in February, working alongside the brands fantastic in-house Marketing & PR team led by Francesca Sieler.
The news has been well received by the industry with the leaders VOGUE and WWD supporting the announcement, our Founder Francesca Gamble commented: “It’s an incredible honour to work with a woman who’s been in the industry for 28 years, to deliver media relations for her debut presentation. ICON LULU GUINNESS TO SHOW AT LONDON FASHION WEEK FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 28 YEAR HISTORY
January 2018, This season will mark a wonderful celebration of British fashion as luxury accessories designer Lulu Guinness will feature on schedule at London Fashion Week for the first time in the brand’s history. Adding a twist to the LFW format, the unique presentation will be held over two days, one exclusively for the fashion industry and the other for consumers, to include loyal customers, social media fans and students from The London College of Fashion, which Lulu continues to support.
Consistently injecting creativity, humour and glamour into her designs, Lulu Guinness will bring her iconic flair to the brands first London Fashion Week presentation. Creating a witty and energetic presentation bringing to life a modern AW18 collection; focusing on accessories, shoes and clothing.
Starting her business at the age of just 29 years old, Lulu Guinness has continued to push the boundaries of innovation, coupled with a strong British sense-of-humour and shows no signs of slowing down in 2018. Exciting global expansion plans will pave the way for the British label to maintain its status within the global industry, and continue to win the hearts of fashion fans all over the world.
A huge advocate for women in business and a regular mentor to women rising the ranks in the fashion industry, Lulu Guinness has won many awards for her accomplishments over the years, including an OBE in 2006, and winning The Independent Handbag Designer Awards ICONOCLAST, for The Lifetime Achievement award in Handbag Design in 2009. Continuing to surpass the role of mere fashion accessories, Lulu Guinness has had exhibitions at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and Sotheby’s London and New York.
